Hello!

I am a Design Researcher and Strategist

First and foremost, I am an Explorer.
I explore problems and possibilities.

Strategize

Investigate

Investigate

First, I ask the stakeholders

  • What are you trying to solve?

  • Why is this a problem now?

  • Whose problem is this?

Frame the problem statement and confirm

  • Do we know the root cause? How?

  • What are the gaps in understanding the problem?

  • Who else is facing this problem?

I create a plan to explore the problem space and possibilities.

  • What are the type of questions - why, how, how much?

  • What are the constraints - time, access to participants, budget?

Business and team needs guide how to prioritize the research.

  • What do business, design, & dev teams need from research?

  • What are the resources - time, budget, participant availability?

I conduct the planned research and continuously analyze data

  • What changes does the study need based on preliminary data?

  • Are we interpreting the data correctly?

Synthesize and communicate findings

  • What do the findings mean to different stakeholders?

  • What are the next steps - quick fix or a long-term UX strategy?
